EmpowerU

What is it?
EmpowerU takes a holistic approach to mental health by helping young people understand their emotions, build resilience and feel a stronger sense of belonging. The programme gives students simple tools for wellbeing, self care and healthier choices in a safe and supportive space.

EmpowerU is a six week life skills programme that supports young people with their mental health and wellbeing. It helps young people build confidence, resilience and healthier habits through practical tools they can use in everyday life, delivered in welcoming community spaces.

Suitable for 11-13 year olds

Up to 15 young people per cohort

Our programmes are fully funded through the support of local businesses, foundations and community fundraising.

What should
you expect?

Two hour sessions each week
for six weeks.


EmpowerU…

Delivered by a wellbeing practitioner and an experienced facilitator.

Held in a calm and relaxed environment with sensory lighting, bean bags, soft music and engaging tools.

Topics include… understanding emotions, self care, anti bullying, online safety, healthier choices and building resilience.

Students explore what supports their mental health and create their own personalised plan for future wellbeing.

Every young person receives their own workbook to guide them through their EmpowerU journey.

All content is reviewed by clinicians to ensure every tool is fully evidence backed.

EmpowerU is a community based programme designed to strengthen young people’s emotional resilience and mental health understanding. 

Referrals can be submitted by parents and carers, teachers or pastoral staff with parental or carer consent. Contact us to find out if EmpowerU is available in your area. Depending on availability we will then send you a digital referral form.
