For Teachers Supporting a Student in Crisis

1. Follow your school safeguarding procedure

2. Contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately

3. Do not promise confidentiality

4. Do not leave the student alone if risk is high

5. Stay calm, listen, and reassure

6. Call 999 if there is immediate danger
